I have been asked to do the wedding flowers of a really lovely couple who are getting married next April. The wedding is going to be at The Gallivant Hotel, Camber, Rye, East Sussex. and I thought I would share some ideas with you on the blog today. The Gallivant Hotel is set behind the sand dunes of the beautiful sandy beach of Camber Sands, specialising in relaxed, informal weddings that have a joyful seaside holiday feel about them. I wanted to reflect the colours of the sand dunes the sky and the sea but also bring a splash of springtime colour. .jpg)
My suggested colour palette goes from sage green into turquoises, pale washed out blues with a splash of sunshine yellow and ochre going down to sandy beige and cream..jpg)

I love using Pinterest to show my brides my ideas, colour palettes and potential flowers that I have in mind. I also always ask my brides if they already have a Pinterest wedding board before the initial consultation so that I can gather ideas and get a really good feel for the look that they are after and if they don’t I recommend that they start one.
